Texas counts!

I definitely agree with this article when it says “Texans probably will vote in record numbers today.” For the first time in a long time Texas will actually make a difference in the presidential primary election. From what I have been observing, more and more people are seeing the importance in taking the time to go out and vote. More citizens are actually taking the primary elections serious. There are lots of Texans that would say, “My one vote would not matter anyway”. But minds are changing and people are voting. Not only or people going to vote for the primary, but the turn out in Texas early voting was a big leap from the past years. The race between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is so close that the Texas vote does really matter. Obama is actually counting on Texas to get a lead over Clinton. As the article says, “Texas is the biggest of four states holding nominating primaries today.” As well as Obama, Clinton is counting on the Texas vote to get her comeback in the race. I also agree that everyone is in excitement over the democratic side. Both competitors will make history if they win the presidential election. With Clinton being a woman and Obama being an African American man, this election will be a historic event. This could take part in why more and more people are voting this time around.

Will Texas turnout 'make a difference'?
